Whether you're a "newbie" who has never been on stage before, or a comedian who just wants to add "more funny" to your set, our 6-week workshops offer something for everyone.

Our Beginning 101 Workshop is geared for those new to stand-up comedy and focuses on things such as basic joke-writing skills, stage technique, and minimizing stage fright.

For those who've been on stage a few times and are looking to take their material to the next level, we offer our Stand-up Comedy Writer's Workshop which focuses on writing and fine tuning new and existing material. Students are expected to have a working knowledge of comedy writing and joke structure for this Workshop.

NEW!! And just added, our Stand-up Comedy for Kids Workshop. We believe funny is funny no matter what your age. This Workshop is for young people with a good sense of humor who enjoy being funny and making people laugh.

All Workshops end with a “graduation showcase” for family, friends and the community.

6 WEDNESDAYS  7-10 PM

Turn your funny ideas and stories into stand-up comedy material. This workshop is designed for beginning students who have an interest in performing stand-up comedy and will teach  basic joke writing techniques, setups, punchlines, and tags, how to minimize “stage fright”, and much more. Workshop ends with a graduation performance in front of family and friends.

This Workshop is open to anyone with prior stand-up comedy writing and/or performing experience. All levels are invited.  As a group, students will work on each other's set, tweaking setups, punching up jokes, and tightening overall performances. Students can work on existing material as well as bring new ideas and premises each week. Workshop ends with a graduation performance in front of family and friends. Students are expected to have a working knowledge of comedy writing and joke structure for this Workshop.
