How Long Are The Workshops?
We currently offer three workshops. Stand-up Comedy 101, for those new to stand-up comedy and focuses on things such as basic joke-writing skills, stage technique, and minimizing stage fright, Stand-up Comedy Writer's Workshop for those who've been on stage a few times and are looking to take their material to the next level, and our newest workshop, Stand-up Comedy for Kids, for young people with a good sense of humor who enjoy being funny and making people laugh. Each workshop is held one night a week for six consecutive weeks. Each session is thee hours long. All workshops end with a Graduation Showcase in
front of family and friends. To register, click

I want to signup but I may have to miss a class or two. Is that a problem?
Since the workshops are only 6 weeks, we prefer you try and make every one.
-
How many students are in a workshop?
We cap class sizes off at 8. We've found by limiting each workshop, each student gets a fair amount of time to work on material in class.
-
Is six weeks really long enough to put together a comedy routine?
Believe it or not, in just six short weeks you will have put together material that WILL get laughs (providing of course you do put in the required amount of writing time). Not convinced? Click here to see students perform for the very first time.
