STAND-UP COMEDY WORKSHOP REGISTRATION

Whether you’re a “newbie” who has never been on stage before, or a comedian who just wants to add “more funny” to your set, our 6-week workshops offer something for everyone.

In 2008 I created Students of Stand-up, a Beginning Comedy Workshop designed specifically to help those just starting out in stand-up comedy. After the first 6-week session was over, word began to spread and eventually additional Workshops were added. Stand-up Comedy 101  focuses on those new to stand-up comedy who have limited or no prior stand-up experience. The Stand-up Comedy Writer’s Workshop  is for those who’ve been on stage a few times and are looking to take their material to the next level, focusing on writing and fine tuning new and existing material.

All workshops are taught throughout Orange County.

All Workshops end with a “Graduation Showcase” for family, friends and the community.

STAND-UP COMEDY 101 WORKSHOP

Our Stand-up Comedy 101 Workshop is geared for those new to stand-up comedy and focuses on things such as basic joke-writing skills, stage technique, and minimizing stage fright.

STAND-UP COMEDY WRITER’S WORKSHOP

For those who’ve been on stage a few times and are looking to take their material to the next level, we offer our Stand-up Comedy Writer’s Workshop which focuses on writing and fine tuning new and existing material.
Students are expected to have a working knowledge of comedy writing and joke structure for this Workshop.

COMEDY SHOW HOSTING & PRODUCER WORKSHOP

Do you have what it takes to be a great comedy show producer or the host/emcee people will be talking about long after the show is over? We will take you step by step teaching you everything you’ll need to produce and host great stand-up shows!
